Rene Van Muylen, the WORST OF THE WORST
JAMES AKINS was shot down on 1 dec 1943. With help from the Underground, he and his bombardier BILL DOLGIN evaded capture for almost 4 months. Then they were the first to be sent out on the "new escape route" - which unfortunately was set up by the
GERMAN COLLABORATERRENE, VAN MUYLEN.
Court records show that Van Muylen had been responsible for the arrest of 177 Allied airmen in the Antwerp, Belgium area, and was later executed.
When Jimmy and Dolgin arrived at Luft !,they found their navigator, Jack Foard, who had been caught back in December. Jimmy was sent to the South Compound and Bill Dolgin was sent to the North 1 compound.
I have heard that, to this day there are still traitors walking around a country that is free because of men such Jimmy, Jack and Bill, and I hope they cannott sleep at night. If they don't like this article I'm not hard to find, as I am no coward or turncoat.
